Curaçao: one of the most beautiful destinations for divers
With its nearly 100 places where it is possible to dive at the whole
South coast Curaçao is regarded as a paradise for divers.
The view of the flat reef is already a unforgettable experience.
And if you come to deeper areas you can see the biggest and most amazing sights of Curaçao.
You can choose of three big diving areas
Curaçao is surrounded by wonderful diving places but the most beautiful
ones are at the South West coast of the island. The track from Westpunt
to the lighthouse at Kap St. Marie is called Banda Abao.
The diving area Central Curaçao includes the area between Bullenbaai
and the Princess Beach Resort. The Curaçao underwater park is the most
Southern area and reaches from the Princess Beach Resort to the Eastern cap of the island.
Even the fish greet you smiling
If you are not among the divers you probably think the films and photos of the impressing and tropical fish,
which accompany the divers, are not real. But you will soon find
out that such photos are not posed. The fact that the underwater
tourism developed very slowly ( we have never mentioned an
explosive boom in the diving sports ) makes the fish think of the
divers as "animals" of the same species and they do not feel threatened.
There is probably no better place for learning lessons in diving than Curaçao.
