The Maritime Museum

It is located near Scharloo (Punda), in Van Brandhofstraat in Willemstad and shows the island´s navigation through the centuries. There are also guided tours in combination with a visit of the museum.

Museum Kura Hulanda

At the place where once had been a place for slaves and which is next to the Sint Anabaai shipyard, is now the wonderful Museum Kura Hulanda. In this museum you can see, hear and experience the development of slaves and other inhabitants of Curaçao over the course of the centuries. Museum Kura Hulanda has the best and unique collection of African objects of the whole Caribbean. The impressing collector´s pieces bring the African past to the visitor. E.mail: kurahulanda@interneeds.net the entrance fee for grown-ups is NAf 10,- and for children up to 12 NAf 5,-.

The Curaçao Museum

It is located in a historical building of the year 1853. In the museum you can see antique furniture of Curaçao, paintings, antique maps of Curaçao and the Caribbean area and Indian artificial objects. There you can also visit the "Snip" aeroplane. The entrance fee is for grown-ups NAf 4,- and for children NAf. 2,-.

Telemuseum

The telemuseum is located in a wonderfully restored building in the heart of Punda in Willemstad. A permanent exhibition documents the history of telecommunication on the island. Open: Monday to Friday from 9am to 12am and from 1.30pm to 5pm. Entrance for free.
