Golf:The golf course "Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort" which opened in spring 2000 is situated north of the Capital Willemstad. The picturesque 18-hole golf course offers spectacular tee-offs such as the 5th hole, a tee-off from a rock over the sea, an adventure for every golf player. The spacious open-air bar in the club house offers, in addition to delicious, tropic cocktails, a spectacular view over the Caribbean bay with a white, sandy beach and a turquoise-blue sea. The always blowing trade wind provides for refreshment. The AAA championship golf course has a diving ranch and a putting green. The following equipment is available in the club house: changing cubicles, Pro Shop, rental of golf clubs and golf carts. The beach offers unique diving possibilities, too.The 9-hole golf course in Willemstad on Curaçao has existed for more than 65 years - it is a lovely area, often with original tee-offs, it is dreamy and quiet and there are not at all too many tourists. |
